Today’s topic: Journaling 📝
If you follow my Youtube channel, you know that I am currently on a self-love journey. The past few weeks, I have been researching ways to improve my mental health.
One of the most popular topics today is journaling. Journaling is an outlet to increase self-awareness and process emotions. Surprisingly, journaling has a few health benefits as well. Studies show that people who journal are less stressed, tend to have lower blood pressure, and manage their anxiety better.
When I originally thought about journaling, I took the typical “dear diary” mentality into consideration. Contrary to what one may assume, this is not the case at all! One of my latest purchases from amazon was the Start Where You Are A Journal for Self-Exploration.
Oprah has deemed this book as a must read! This journal is designed to help readers nurture their creativity, mindfulness, and self-motivation. This journal is filled with inspiring quotes, writing room for reflection, and reminders that we can appreciate the world around us and achieve our dreams!
I love that there is no “right way” or “rules” to this journal. You can start on whatever page you desire. This journal includes pages that encourage writing, drawing, chart-making, and even coloring.
Mental health and wellness is something we all should practice. I think activities like journaling really help. Do you journal? Let me know below in the comments!
Thanks for reading!
