5 Tips for a Productive Work Week.

Ahhhh, the oh so dreaded Sunday, or as I like to call it, “Monday’s Eve”. Occasionally, it is hard to get back in the swing of things after having a few days off for the weekend. When we have to balance our work life, home life, and social life it can be hard to stay productive. These are a few of my tried and true tips I use for a productive work week.

This is one of my favorite thing to do on Sundays. I sit down with a cup of coffee and plan out everything I need to do for the week ahead. I group task in order of importance and then schedule them on my weekly calendar. Using a planner is a great way to get a handle of your work week. This is my number one way to stay motivated and productive by crossing tasks off my list as they are completed.



Meal Prep

This tip can save you time and money! Preparing your meals for the week is not only convenient but a healthier choice too! Make a grocery list of items for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. This saves you from running to grab fast food for every meal. It’s one less worry during your week to figure out what you are going to cook every day.

Plan your outfits

This is my biggest time saver during the week. I plan my gym outfits, and my everyday work outfits. I am the type of girl who spends the most time ever picking out an outfit. This is how I combat being late! This is a good tip for moms as well, picking out your kids outfits will add for more time in the mornings.

Clean House

Ok, so technically I do this on Fridays after work with music blasting and wine in hand. Remember, this is a judgment free zone! Cleaning your house before your work week can save the time and stress of worrying about what needs to be cleaned. I also believe its best to come home to a clean house after a long day at work. If you work from home, there’s nothing like working in a clean workspace!


A little rest and relaxation is one of my favorite ways to prepare for my productive work week! I hate going into the work week run down and stressed out. I like to pamper myself by taking a nice hot bubble bath, and of course a face mask! I also enjoy reading a great book and relaxing in bed.
