During the summer, I always find myself with more free time. I like to occupy some of that time by listening to podcasts. I discovered podcasts last summer and I’ve been hooked ever since.
My favorite times to listen to these podcasts are either on my daily commute, working out, soaking up the sun in the garden or even folding laundry.
Each of these podcasts has a special place in my heart and I hope they find a place in yours!
Girlboss Radio with Sophia Amoruso promises to expose you to “world-class #girlbosses who have made their mark in creative, cultural, and business ventures”. Although they haven’t posted a new podcast since December, their feed includes loads of #girlbosses who inspire! These podcast interviews prove that girls do run the world! This is a great listen for inspiration & tips to help you reach your #girlboss dreams!
WHOREible Decisions is a secret guilty pleasure of mine. Mandii B and WeezyWTF deliver a jam packed hour each week of their laugh out loud, fully unfiltered sexcapades stories. These two twenty something-year-olds are definitely making their mark with this podcast. They bring guests on their show from all walks of life to discuss “ whoreible decisions”, pun intended… Everyone from unicorns to MD’s. They even answer your craziest questions anonymously. This show is guaranteed to have you laughing out loud not only because it’s funny, but because you can live vicariously through the hosts.
The Strategy Hour Podcast: Online Business | Blogging | Productivity – with Think Creative Collective is one of the first podcast I listened to in the beginning. Abagail Pumphrey and Emylee Williams deliver a show full of strategies to grow your business, social media, or blog. Their goal is to get you paid for your “side-hustle”. They give you super informative interviews from successful entrepreneurs who are willing to share their secrets to success. Definitely, a great listen for an up and coming blogger.
Although I am still in my 20’s, Stage 30 is perfect for all twenty-something-year-olds transitioning into adulthood. Hosted by Su and Tray this show embarks on relatable experiences leading up to your 30’s. I love it because the topics give me great “food for thought.” Su and Tray feel like a girlfriend’s group chat. The discussions each week vary from helping young adults realize that being lit every weekend can become expensive and that it’s ok to stay home sometimes… To understanding that owning a home doesn’t define your adulthood. Sometimes social media can mess with your mind but this podcast is guaranteed to keep your right on track.
