We all know early mornings can be tough, especially if you’re not a morning person. Most rely on caffeine to wake them up and get them out the door. These are a few ways to feel more awake without caffeine.
Journaling is a great way to wake up and activate your brain. Writing down things you’re thankful for or even reading positive affirmations. You can also do crosswords or play other mind games to help wake you up.
No surprise here, this is one of the best ways to jumpstart your energy for the day. Everything from yoga & stretching to a 20 minute HIIT sesh. This is guaranteed to kick-start your energy for the day.
This doesn’t sound like it’s the most fun thing to do early in the morning but hear me out… I like to do this toward the end of my devilishly hot shower. I turn on the cold water only for the last few minutes. If this doesn’t wake you up, I don’t know what else will. (LOL)
Drinking water will help with dehydration. Having a glass full will get you on the right track every morning!
